This album was not recorded in a garage using real
instruments. It was recorded on a computer in my bedroom. The music on this
album was composed, programmed and orchestrated using FL Studio 10 Producer
Edition. Again, no acoustic instruments were used in its creation: it is
entirely digital.
Vocals were recorded using a RedOctane Rock Band
microphone.
This album was recorded using Goldwave v.5.65
Front cover art is Thomas Burnet’s 1694 illustration
Den Aardkloot van water ontbloot, na twee
zijden aante sien.
Back cover art is Nicholas Roerich’s 1936 painting Kuluta.

Notes on the tracks:
“3 Beggars” was originally entitled “Zenith.”
“Territory” was originally entitled “A Harmony of
Overwhelming and Collective Murder.”
The lyrical content of “Ghost Mountains” is inspired
by H.P. Lovecraft’s short novel At the
Mountains of Madness.
“I’m Insane 2014” is a newly recorded version of an
old (and still unreleased) Sypha Nadon song entitled “I’m Insane” (first
recorded in the year 2001).
The lyrics in “Mt. Meru” are taken from the poem
“The Broken Music Box” which was written by James Champagne on May 11th,
2014.
The lyrical content of “Form & Void” is inspired
by both the Robert Chambers short story collection The King in Yellow and the TV show True Detective.
“The Acknowledged” is a companion piece to the old
Sypha Nadon song “The Ignored” (2000).
Order in which the songs were roughly created:

Lyrics
Territory
Trapped in this jungle
Of glass, concrete and steel
Cannot tell the difference
Between what’s fake and real
Clicking on a website’s
Like stepping on a mine
Reality dissolves
Into your blurred lines
Predatory
Territory
It will consume us
It will be gory
Predatory
Territory
It will consume us
It will be gory
Pious rednecks worship guns
While giant ants devour the sun
Would-be warlocks get sick thrills
Sacrificing children atop domed hills
Predatory
Territory
It will consume us
It will be gory
Predatory
Territory
It will consume us
It will be gory
Ghost
Mountains
I am drawn to worlds of ice
I fashioned the raven device
Ghost Mountains rise into the Outer Dark
What’s beneath those phantom peaks is a question
mark
I will descend into their stone mystery
And mingle with the Elder Ones for eternity
I have seen the Midnight Sun
It told me our time is done
Ghost Mountains rise into the Outer Dark
What’s beneath those phantom peaks is a question
mark
I will descend into their stone mystery
And mingle with the Elder Ones for eternity
I’m
Insane 2014
Walking through a desert
I am all alone
Haunted by a vision in which vultures pick my bones
I am a vampire
I bite into your neck
I suck out all your blood,
Now you’re a nervous wreck
I’m insane, I’m insane, I’m insane,
What happened to my brain?
I’m insane, I’m insane, I’m insane,
What happened to my brain?
This is a city
A city has no pity
In the end we die by ourselves
Emotions forgotten in some dark, lonely place
Collecting dust on a shelf
I’m insane, I’m insane, I’m insane,
What happened to my brain?
I’m insane, I’m insane, I’m insane,
What happened to my brain?
Where hungry dogs roam
And ancient mills scream
Where the dust is lost time and unrealized dreams
Skeleton junky
His spirit is broken,
His head splits open, his head splits open
I’m insane, I’m insane, I’m insane,
What happened to my brain?
I’m insane, I’m insane, I’m insane,
What happened to my brain?
Mt.
Meru
The witch’s music box cantillates a funerary tune,
A voice from the dead whispering the pointless
nothings
Of Suffering séance-bound shades bereft of all
choice,
Pinioned to the box by the wizard’s harsh runes.
But what necromancer gave a voice to these singing
wounds?
Calling forth identities like a volcano erupting
Thetans into a void and rebel seraphim falling,
Into dusty and desolate and spider webbed rooms?
Were I to flee this aethyr today ‘twould not be too
soon,
With motions to the primal swamp I shall begin
crawling.
Sprawling Mount Meru sinks beneath the first ocean,
As the once-bright world dims to proleptical gloom.
I have seen this macrocosm decline into a darkling
tomb,
Saw the sun weep tears of glistening fire,
Choirs of dragons mourning and wringing their claws,
As the eld galaxies march sadly to their doom.
The music from the box is like extinction’s cold
bloom;
Wrong are the root races who succumb to its woes.
Those who hear its most deleterious song,
See it as it is: Death dressed in music’s costume.
Form
& Void
See the Black Stars sing
Hymns to the Yellow King
When you make the Sign
Carcosa shall be mine
Form & Void
Paranoid
Trapped in a conspiracy
That you can’t avoid
Form & Void
Form & Void
Form & Void
Form & Void
Our Sign shall be blessed
In the dead woman’s flesh
Will you make a wish
To the Great Antlered Abyss?
Form & Void
Paranoid
Time is a flat circle
That you cannot avoid
Form & Void
Form & Void
Form & Void
Form & Void
